2 NIGHTS MARA EXLPORER CAMP FLYING PACKAGE
Mara Explorer is situated on a broad, thickly forested bend of the Talek River in the very heart of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
This luxurious tented camp lies at the confluence of the Masai Mara’s four main game-viewing areas, and enjoys prime views of the spectacular wildebeest migration between July and September.
During the remainder of the year, herds of watering elephant, hippos and other animals can often be seen from your private veranda.
Mara Explorer exclusive five-star camp offers 10 luxurious and well-spaced tents, each with its own private river frontage and views over the River Talek’s wildlife-rich southern banks.
The superb setting and location of the camp makes for a wonderful game-watching experience, including from the comfort of your bed, bath or verandah.
The tents have been specially designed to open up to the sky and, on a deck on one side, a Victorian claws-foot bathtub offers secluded open-air bathing – and a unique new perspective of the African bush.
Day 1
Arrive at Wilson Airport for your scheduled morning or afternoon flight to Masai Mara. The flight is approximately 45 minutes to OlKiombo Airstip.
Upon arrival at the airstrip‚ you will be met by a driver/ guide who will transfer you to the camp to check in. After lunch you will depart for a late afternoon game drive or enjoy other activities offered at the camp.
Day 2
You will set out just before sunrise in search of game.The Maasai Mara is known as Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserve and is famous for the abundance of lion‚ the Great Wildebeest Migration.
In between your morning and afternoon game drive you will have ample time to relax and enjoy the ambiance at your luxury tented camp.
Day 3
Enjoy a final early morning game drive before breakfast‚ after which you will be transfered to the airstrip for you flight back to Nairobi.
